To be eligible to play wheelchair rugby you basically need an impairment in at least three limbs. This criterion covers a wide range of people but the word I want to focus on is impairment, it's what all players have in common. Here at LondonWRC we rely on the kindness of donations from fundraisers and the general public wanting to assist the club. One such fundraiser is Christy who’s signed up, received her ballot place and currently training to run in the London Marathon. The Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby Premiership Division met for the fourth event of the season. On Saturday 24th May held at the home of the Paralympics, Stoke Mandeville Stadium. The third event of the Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby Premiership took place on the 27th March at Stoke Mandeville Stadium. It was the first time this season that both our LondonWRC teams attended the same event. We're competing again! The GBWR National season is firmly underway and after attending the first two Premiership events it's clear to see every team is glad to be back.
